Magnificent Maple
We are now at the peak of the most beautiful time of the year – Autumn!! It is my favorite time of the year, even if by the end of it we have usually gotten our first big snow dump and it looks more like winter than fall. I do love the cooler temps, especially when the sun decides to shine. The photo inspiration for our new challenge is beautiful! I decided to finally use Magnificent Maple, which I purchased from the 2013 Holiday Mini Catalog. Can you believe that I never even mounted this stamp? Disgraceful!! I always knew that it would be the perfect Autumn card so decided to use it for this great color theme challenge.
Also, Holidays & Wishes, purchased when I was collecting stamps but not using them yet LOL, came from the 2007 Fall & Winter Collection Catalog. I also used Full of Blessings from 2012 Holiday Mini Catalog and Gratitude for Days from 2014 Holiday Mini Catalog. Isn’t it fun to use lots of stamps from your collection? It’s exactly why I have such a hard time giving them up!! Using some tools that are current in our catalog, I combined them with some retired products that really brought out the image in my mind.

Beautiful, looks like my lawn here in Maine…..
This is gorgeous! That dsp is my favorite of all time from SU, so much I have only scraps left. Wish I had more fall weather here in TX, it’s also my favorite time of the year.
WOW Debbie, so glad that you decided to ink up this beauty! The background you lovely, but the Maple is indeed Magnificent. As always I love all your little details, twine bow and those neat little banners holding the sentiment. LOVE. Clairex
Great card Debbie. The maple leaf is lovely, and the textured background is wonderful! The ribbon, banner, and enamels are all the right touches.
Debbie, I see your love of Autumn in every detail of this stunning card!! The choice of DSP provided such a rich palette of color and the embossing great texture! So many lovely accessories, including the pierced trio details. Off to pin…
I was awestruck when I first saw this card and it took me a long time to decide that it was dsp and not handstamped paper! I LOL’d at the idea of having unmounted stamps! Shame on us! Stunning card!
Debbie, the DSP looks amazing with all that texture from the embossing folder, love the rich colors of this beautiful time of the year and all of them are represented in your gorgeous card. So glad you used this beautiful leaf image for the first time for this card.
All the details truly enhance this focal image.
Fabulous card!!!
I love those colors, especially with the yellow. And the background paper is beautiful. That particular embossing folder adds such a nice, fine texture to it. Many of my stamps which I call “new” have actually been sitting for over a year, tsk tsk.
Debbie, love your maple leave, the background DAP and how you embossed it is beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration.
Gorgeous! The colors! The elements! I adore it all!❤️
Love this card Debbie! I, too have stamps that have not been inked (and some not mounted as well). Love the fact that you pulled out these old favorites and gave them some “love” 🙂 Thanks for playing along with us at SUO Challenges- hugs and have a blessed week, my friend!
Pwharva great combination of images and colours. So glad you joined the fun at SUO
