Mosaic Madness Birthday Cards

Hello!

Are you all enjoying the last days of Summer?  We are trying to squeeze out every last bit we can get before taking my son back to the University of Michigan.  Having him home this summer has been such a treat, after missing him so much last year.  It’s almost like getting a “do-over,” you know what I mean?  Just in case we didn’t understand how wonderful it was to have him around before, here is another chance to really appreciate it!  Of course, making him feel that way is another thing!  We will be seeing him off this week and life will get real quiet around the Mageed house once more.

I don’t know how you like the Mosaic Madness stamp set, but I see how versatile it can be.  It has such an old world feel – but not vintage and doesn’t need lots of layers to make it really look great!  It is a wonderful stamp set for both masculine and feminine cards, just choose your colors and you got it looking beautiful!

To demonstrate how you can change it up, here is another card that I made using the same stamp set.

Just a little more involved with this card.  I needed my Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the little stamps aligned into the vanilla cardstock after it went through the Big Shot with the embossing folder, but, oh, how I love the way this card turned out!

Both of these cards are easy to make, so I hope you will give them a try.  Which one do you like the best?  If you have any questions, please feel free to leave me a comment.

I hope you are enjoying the last days of August and hope to see you back here soon!  Until then,

Stay calm and craft on!

Debbie

  1. I love how you showed the versatility of this stamp set! The details are great without overwhelming the lovely designs. Give my nephew a bear hug for me!
