Hello!
Just finishing up a very busy weekend – where did it go? I wasn’t able to play at all in my craft room this weekend. It was full of activities with my family and also an interfaith gathering. Have you heard about Artprize? It is a wonderful event here where artists from all over the world exhibit their art of all kinds and then we get to vote for our favorites. The winner gets a nice prize and everyone has a wonderful time! It has been going on for a few years and it is really great to see how the city of Grand Rapids lights up with families and friends walking from venue to venue. Anyway, on to the last card I made before the weekend:
One of the best parts of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is being one of Mary Fish’s Stampin’ Pretty Pals. It truly has enriched my life and I can’t imagine ever leaving. Mary challenged the Pals last week to make a card using any product that starts with the letter of our name. I didn’t realize how few items started with D! So, I chose Delicate Doilies and A Dozen Thoughts (I think that one counts!) with Daffodil Delight cardstock. It was so much fun! Now, this week Mary will take the entries and choose a random winner for a prize! Wish me luck!
It’s All in the Details
- Stamp Set: Delicate Doilies, A Dozen Thoughts
- Paper: Quatrefancy Specialty DSP, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy and Crumb Cake cardstock
- Ink: VersaMark
- Cool Tools: Heat Tool, Circle Punch
- Finishing Touch: Brights Candy Dots, Dimensionals, Early Espresso Embossing Powder
I hope you like my card today! Would you please leave a comment and let me know what you did this weekend? You might as well because today is the LAST DAY to enter my blog candy contest. You must subscribe to my blog AND leave a comment to win. I will pick a random winner and the winner has 24 hours to claim their prize. If they do not, I will pick another winner so please come back tomorrow to see if YOU get my blog candy prize. Please understand that I am only able to mail to an USA address. Until next time,
Keep calm and craft on,
Debbie
Cuteness! I’m now obsessing on what I can do with “N”!!!
This is such a fun contest that Mary chose. I love looking at all the PALS cards using the products that start with their initials. Too cool. You did awesome in the ‘D’ department. Love the colors!
My husband and a friend got the lights back working in my room. They had to run a whole new wire. We did get to go fishing on a pontoon Saturday as the weather was just gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing!
Love the card, Debbie! Perhaps I will try this also with a “K”… too late for a Pals entry, but a challenge all the same. You chose a great layout for the subject and sweet details. Loving that your style is emerging… keep calm and craft on, girlfriend! Hugs!
