Zoo Babies Revisited for Paper Players 163

Hello!

Zoo Babies is one of the cutest stamp sets that Stampin’ Up! has so you really just have to have it.  I have used it for new baby cards but this is for a birthday and it has got to be the most fun card I have EVER made!  I love it and just have to show it to you right now!

Do you see the balloons?  I used two of the stamps from My Paper Pumpkin and heat embossed them with white embossing powder then punched them out with the small oval punch.  The fun part was using my Bigz Peekaboo Frames!  I just recently purchased it and thought this would be the perfect time to bring it out of its wrapper.  Now, what do I do?  Well, what kid wouldn’t be thrilled to find zoo babies behind the doors?

Well, I love how this card turned out but I would like your opinion, so please leave me a comment!  Kids’ cards are so much fun to make.  Which stamp set says “kids” to you?  I hope you find time to play with your stamps this week!  I know you will be glad you did.  Until then,

Keep calm and craft on,

Debbie

  1. Great kid card, Debbie! I would not have thought to do the embossing in this manner. Will have to remember that for embossing colors that I do not have!! And you know I LOVE Zoo Babies and the Peekaboo Bigz Die! Cute, Cute!

  2. Awww, this is so cute Debbie! Kids love pop-ups and peek-a-boos so this is perfect. Great colors and the perfect choice of stamp set. Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!

  3. Your card is just so precious. I must admit I don’t make many kids cards, just baby cards for newborns but not so many for the little ones. My grandkids are in college now. I do love to see how others get creative with the kids stamps. You did a great job on this one.

  4. Hi Debbie! It was so fun yesterday. Thanks for taking the time to “play” and to show me some new items! I love this card…and I certainly want to order the Peek a Boo framelits! Your idea is so cute! It would make a cute Christmas card I think using Christmas stamps and papers.

  5. What an adorable interactive card, perfect for kids! Zoo babies is a perfect stamp set for kids cards. I love your project Debbie, and thanks for sharing it with us at The Paper Players!
