Bite Me Photopolymer for Mojo Monday

Bite Me

Hello!

I just received the new Bite Me Photopolymer Stamp Set and couldn’t wait to break it out and show you all!  Warning! The spiders look VERY realistic! My daughter totally freaked out when she saw this card!  (She is obviously terrified of them!)  I don’t love them but really wanted that cat stamp.  Have you tried the photopolymer stamp sets yet?  I have purchased just about all of them so far and really love them.  The best part is how easy it is to layer stamps on top of other stamps, like the spider on the web in my card.  There is no need to use the stamp-a-ma-jig since the stamp is completely transparent.  You can see exactly how much ink is on your stamp and where you are stamping it.  This makes it so easy and lots of fun with no frustrations.

I am entering this card into the Mojo Monday 317 Challenge which features either a round or square card.  This card started with a card base in Pumpkin Pie, measuring 5 1/4″ square.  The 5″x 2.5″ Basic Gray and Black pieces of cardstock were laid down and Pumpkin Pie 1/8″ ribbon placed across the seam.  Halloween Bash is  great Halloween stamp set and even though it inked up unevenly, I really thought it added to the holiday feeling.  Framelits made the circles and window frame super-fast and easy. I added a little silver to make the cat’s eyes with a blender pen and Pumpkin Pie candy dots are the perfect touch!

It’s All in the Details

  • Stamp Set:  Bite Me Photopolymer, Halloween Bash
  • Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Gray, Basic Black, Whisper White
  • Ink:  Basic Gray, Early Espresso, Metallic Encore Pad
  • Cool Tools: Window Frames Collection Framelits, Circles Collection Framelits, Chevron Embossing Folder, Blender pen
  • Finishing Touch: Pumpkin Pie 1/8″ Ribbon, Brights Candy Dots

Tip of the Day:  Photopolymer Stamp Sets are lots of fun so give them a try!  Just make sure you clean your stamps right after you use them to avoid the ink staining the stamp.

So, I hope you like my card today!  If you did, would you please leave me a comment?  I would love to know what kind of weather you are expecting on Thursday?  We are expecting rain so our little trick-or-treaters will be ringing doorbells with costumes all covered up with rain gear!  We don’t get many Halloweens with warm, dry weather so we are used to it, I think!  I hope you have a great day!  Till next time,

Keep calm and craft on!

Debbie

  1. I love the kitty, also! And that spider/web stamp is the closest I want to get to spiders, LOL! Great card, Debbie!! And it looks like we are in for rain, also, for Thurs night Trick or Treaters….

  2. Love this card, Debbie! It is so spooky and fun. And you are so right, those spiders look very real! P.S. – we are hearing rain for the little goblins on Thursday too! Seems to be the common weather pattern. . .

  3. I love your Halloween tri-fold card. On your post you put in a link for the diagram to make the card but it is not working. I would love to have the diagram and wondered if you could email it to me. Thanks in advance.
