When I saw this sentiment in the Million & One Stamp Set I fell in love with the font. And it is perfect for my daughter’s scrapbook page. I have fallen behind in my kids’ scrapbooks – lots of excuses but I have decided that it is time to get them caught up! So I hope you don’t mind me posting one once in a while.
My daughter laughed when she saw this page, since she left those little frilly girl days behind a few years ago. But I remember the little 3 year old who would only wear dresses and the little girl whose clothes had to be all floral patterns. I love those memories of her and wouldn’t trade them for anything in this world! That is what this page is all about for me. Maybe it isn’t capturing her at 15 but it certainly is capturing “my little girl.” She will understand one day.
It’s All in the Details
- Stamp Set: Million & One, Secret Garden, Papillon Potpourri, Flowering Flourishes, ABC-123 Sketch Alphabet & Numbers
- Paper: Blushing Bride, Basic Gray, Wisteria Wonder
- Ink: Smoky Slate, Wisteria Wonder
- Cool Tools: Petite Pennants Builder Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Secret Garden Framelits, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Blender Pen
- Finishing Touch: Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Tea Lace Paper Doilies
This scrapbook page went together very easily, mainly because of my favorite tools – punches and framelits. I love them because they really make crafts easier. What memories do you need to journal? Scrapbooks, no matter what size you choose to make, are wonderful gifts for the holidays! Anyone would appreciate the thoughtful gift of days gone by. I have so few memories of my own childhood because there were so few moments captured and wanted my children to have a better memory of their own. I am so happy every time I see my kids pull their scrapbooks off the shelf to show their friends. They don’t even mind me taking pictures of them (most of the time)!
Stampin’ Up! has great scrapbooking products in their Holiday Mini Catalog that will make the job so easy and FAST! I hope you will consider making an album, little or big, for someone you love. They will really be happy you did! If there is anything I can do to help you get started, please feel free to contact me. I have been scrapbooking for 16 years now and would love to help. Until then,
Keep calm and craft on!
