The Tags 4 You stamp set is a great stamp set to have on hand for all of your major holidays! I want to enter this card to this week’s Pals Paper Arts Challenge. I was trying to figure out the best way to make the two vertical banners work and then it occurred to me that they could be candles! Why not? It is the season for cozy evenings wrapped in blankets in front of the fireplace – at least here in Michigan! A couple of candles and a cup of hot tea just makes it the perfect way to stay warm! Is the weather getting colder where you live, too?
This card was super fun to make and easy! A Doily was adhered to the Real Red card base. I used the Season of Style Designer Washi Tape (oh, so easy to use!) and Real Red 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon in between for a little punch of color. I used More Amore DSP for the candles and Crushed Curry for the candle flame (punched with the Bird Builder Punch), sponged on the edges with more Crushed Curry. Old Olive cardstock was cut to make the banner and run through the Big Shot in the Snow Burst Embossing Folder. The stamp was inked up in Real Red and punched with the coordinating punch, Label Bracket. The bow was the last touch that this card needed and was not difficult to make!
