Wildflower Meadow Shadow Box

Wildflower Meadow, Shadow Box 4I am so honored to be Mary Fish’s Guest Stamper today! Being a member of the Pretty Pals has been one of the smartest decisions that I ever made. Mary keeps her ever-growing Pals group going with lots of opportunities to share our creative projects as well as our triumphs and tragedies (and everything in between)! My upline, Katy McGloin, has been instrumental in stretching my “creative wings” with her amazing talent, giving me valuable advice, ideas and support in so many ways. This is what you will get from me as well, if you would ever consider joining Stampin’ Up! through me. And not only will you have my help, you would also have the help of Mary and indeed all of the Pretty Pals!

If you would like to host a class to take advantage of Sale-A-Bration (which ends March 31st), I would love to help! It is as easy as getting your friends together for ONE hour (or as long as you like) and you can even host your party VIRTUALLY! What a great way to get FREE products!! It’s time to get that wish list ordered!

Do you love handmade gifts, home decor or party decorations but don’t have the time to do it yourself? Do you have a project or event that is out of your comfort zone? No problem! I would love to make those projects for you! Just email me at mysecretstamper@gmail.com and let’s get started!

On to my project! I have been wanting to make a shadow box card for at least a year, after seeing this tutorial on the Scor-Pal website. I have tweaked the measurements for my project, so I am providing a Shadow Box Tutorial PDF for my project here. This project is so pretty that my photos really don’t do it justice BUT it didn’t take me long to make! The time is cut substantially due to my use of framelits, sizzlits and embosslits. They are the “go-to” tools in my craft room, making the purchase of my Big Shot an absolute time saver for nearly every project I make! Even if you don’t get much time in your craft room, you absolutely can make this card. This card is perfect for any occasion and the pocket on the back holds a tag for you to stamp for the occasion and sign. I hope you will give it a try!

I hope you liked my card today! If you did, I would love you to leave me a comment! What stamp set do you think should be showcased with a shadow box card? I hope you will take a moment to sign up for email notifications (not usually more than 3 per week) and please “like” my Facebook page.  Please consider the advantages of joining Stampin’ Up! or hosting a get-together during Sale-A-Bration.  This is THE time and the last month is slipping away! I am here to help you in any way. Hope to see you back on Tuesday!

Happy Stampin’!

  4. A Stunning piece of art, Debbie!! What a great project for Mother’s Day! And I love that you showed the shadow box card prior to all the lovely details… that certainly was lovely on its own. Adding the sentiment pocket to the back was sheer genius. And I am truly honored to be your upline (and sister). Although we are many miles apart, SU has certainly provided a shared passion that keeps us close. Love you!!!

It would be stunning as a home decor piece, too!
