Choose Happiness

Choose Happiness is great advice but not always easy. However, I can tell you that the stamp set is an easy choice! I love all of the stamps in the set, which doesn’t always happen for me. I made this card for the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge this week. It’s pretty straight forward so you don’t have any excuse not to play along!

This card started out by stamping the gorgeous flower onto Real Red cardstock with VersaMark then heat embossing with white emboss powder. The Fresh Prints DSP coordinated so well that I used it for the banner. Fussy cutting the branch was the only labor intensive part of this card but was well worth it for that little bit of interest. I popped a button with linen thread and this card was done!

I just returned from a trip of a lifetime to Turkey! I hope you have “liked” my Facebook page (if not, you can do it right here on my sidebar) so you can see some photos when I post them soon! I really hope you can go there one day. What history!! The people are the most hospitable you will ever meet!! I am sure that we only got a small taste of the country in the two weeks we were there, but what an experience my family will never forget! Here is some great advice I learned there:

3. In concealing others’ faults, be like the night
4. In anger and fury, be like the dead
5. In modesty and humility, be like the earth
6. In tolerance, be like a sea
