I could not wait to get the new stamp set, World of Dreams, out and play! Isn’t it so beautiful?! This set just oozes a natural setting so I chose very natural colors, Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso, and Crumb Cake cardstocks. The sketch is from this week’s Pals Paper Arts challenge.
My card started by stamping onto Very Vanilla with the two larger stamps as well as stamping two of the leaf branches. The two branches were cut with the Square framelit, then a layer of Crumb Cake cardstock was cut. Early Espresso cardstock was trimmed with the Tiny Wave Stampin’ Trimmer Rotary Cutting Blade for a fun border. The adorable bird and nest were stamped with Early Espresso and cut with Apothecary Accents framelits, and framed out with a Window Frame Framelit in Pear Pizzazz. Natural Chevron (solid side up) and Venetian Crochet Trim were layered together and glued down. I love the sweet bow that the Crochet Trim makes! The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso and cut with a Itty Bitty Banner Framelit. I just added a couple of Very Vanilla Candy Dots and this card was done. It was a fast and easy card (my favorite!) with the help of my wonderful Big Shot and supply of framelits.
I have a tip for you! You may know this already (if you do, why didn’t you tell me?) but have you ever needed to separate your layers of paper after it was “glued” down? I use Fast Fuse, so, once it’s down, you will tear your paper trying to get it up UNLESS you use your trusty Heat Tool over the area you need to pull back up! No more tearing your paper when you need to separate them!!

Lovely, Debbie! That trim looks so amazing with the images and colors on this card. Thanks for playing along with this week’s PPA sketch.
Your card is so pretty Debbie. I don’t have this set yet; but, after seeing your gorgeous card, I will have to get it.
Well, I made it thru my first Convention. I almost didn’t get to go. My Husband had an unexpected heart surgery, which he is doing well now and went back to work yesterday. Then I had to care for my cat for 2 weeks; but, had to have her put down the Friday before I left. I have since adopted two 3 mos old kitten which are such a joy. Anyways, I am so glad I got to go. I learned a lot, met a lot of new friends and had so much fun! Very exhausting tho’.
Thanks for sharing with us Debbie. So very nicely done!
