Love For All Things

For All Things, Color Me Autumn

If you love an easy seasonal card, you should consider using For All Things. However, this stamp set has such a simplicity to it that I really think you will come back to it all year round. Instead of this card’s sentiment saying “Hello Fall!” like the stamp shows, I taped over the Fall so that this card can be used for any occasion. The Color Me Autumn DSP is so pretty for many occasions. I distressed the edges and curled a few corners to add to the rustic nature of this card.

IT’S ALL IN THE DETAILS

  • Stamp Sets: For All Things
  • Paper: Color Me Autumn DSP, Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla
  • Ink: Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Old Olive
  • SU Tools: Stampin’ Distress Tool
  • Finishing Touch: Epic Day Washi Tape, Color Me Designer Washi Tape, Neutral Designer Buttons, Regals Candy Dots, Linen Thread

Now, I told you in my last post that I was heading to Atlanta to visit family and I have a few photos to share. This photo is my father. One year ago he was so distraught from my mother’s passing. Now he has a new love, Audie, and is very happy! My sisters and I couldn’t be happier for him.

Dad & Audie

This is my first gathering of the blended families with two of my three sisters, Katy and Denise, and Audie’s two daughters, Rhonda and Beth, eating at a nice seafood restaurant on the day I arrived. We had a wonderful time!

Group Photo

Yesterday, a couple of the Stampin’ Pretty Pals, Denise Basile (my sister), Pam Morris and Anne Burr along with one of Katy’s friends, Jackie, came over to Katy’s home, where we all had a great time stamping together in her gorgeous craft room. Here are a couple of the photos from our get-together. Pam had made some very cute projects for us to do! Then we all made a card in a box!!

  1. Just love the rustic look of this card! The stamp image imitates the “color block” technique that I love so much! And those are great family photos! Are you going to “project life” them??
