Peaceful Petals, Bloomin' Marvelous, HardwoodIt’s time for another Retro Rubber challenge! I know you are going to love this one! Embossing is one of the techniques that really attracted me to making cards. When I found embossing powders in different  colors, I was hooked! There was a time (probably before I learned to use blender and aqua pens, etc.) that I used it on everything! lol

This card started out choosing Peaceful Petals stamp set. The stamps in this set are so pretty so I sure wish it had stayed around longer! It definitely will be sticking around in my craft room for a long time! After coloring that beautiful bloom, I went in search for something to go with it and found the hummingbird in Bloomin’ Marvelous. The rest of the card was lots of fun and everything except the background stamp from Hardwood was embossed! I love stamping onto VersaMark then my chosen ink color and covering it in Clear Emboss Powder for lots of shine. Plus I don’t need to worry about random emboss powder on my images. And if you do see any flecks, it is from my newest favorite cardstock, Natural White. I love the way it stamps up and is thicker than Whisper White and Very Vanilla. So, now it’s YOUR turn! Grab your heating gun and get back to doing magic with your embossing powder!
