Hello, Stampers! You all had a great time with the color challenge and the submissions were wonderful! You’re so creative! This week we have a CAS theme challenge for you, hosted by the very talented Claire. I am sure that you won’t have nearly as difficult a time as I did with this week’s challenge. After this, I am going to buy every stamp set I can find with food! I looked around at my wall that is covered in stamp sets and I couldn’t find anything suitable. Of course, there are birthday cakes, cupcakes – those are all fine and good – but I wanted something that really shouted summer.  So, if you have any suggestions, please leave me a comment today and I will be buying them pronto!!
Luckily, I did happen to buy the new Ronald McDonald charity stamp, Sprinkles of Life, mainly because I wanted that coordinating punch. I am totally addicted to tools! Of course, you should all be aware by now that CAS (clean and simple) is not my comfort zone, but I was determined to make my last CAS card with the Paper Players one that could truly be classified as clean and simple. You will notice a layer or two, but I feel that all of that white space (which makes me nervous just looking at it) qualifies. It does, doesn’t it???
This card is going to my daughter for her birthday and it will contain gift cards for – you guessed it – ice cream! She loves and practically lives on it! Her favorite flavors are coffee and chocolate so those are the colors of the double scoop on my card! I love to personalize cards for the person, don’t you?

Debbie, this is just fantastic! I am with you on CAS cards! We both love layers and layers! You did a fabulous job and I love how you personalized this for your daughter! Chocolate and coffee are two of my favorites, too! I am so glad you were able to use your new Ronald McDonald Charity stamp set! Thanks for rocking my challenge! XX
So very cute!!
I love this set and just ordered it.
Definitely CAS Debbie and such a great way to personalise our card with your ice-cream flavours! Good enough to eat!
I was surprised that more people DIDN’T use this RM set, so I am very happy to see your sweet little ice cream cone here, Debbie! Your color combo is very fresh and fun too!
You found a great image to use..nothing says summer like an ice cream cone! Love the ribbon and button..great design!
So adorable, Debbie! Love the colors!
Your coffee and chocolate ice cream is fabulous and I love all the white space! Wonderful card!
I think this is beautiful. And the white space is restful, helping the other card parts come in to clarity, if that makes sense. Nice card!
Your card is fantastic, Debbie! Your daughter will treasure it and just love how you made it so personalized with the coffee and chocolate colored ink for the scoops!! Hugs, Darnell
I am with Sarah regarding ice cream… only difference is the flavors. My favorite is chocolate chip. I can only imagine how you would have personalized the flavor for me, LOL. Great CAS card. While looking at food stamp images, let me know if you run across watermelon… 🙂
Debbie, great card and a great use of the new Ronald McDonald stamp set. The little bow is a perfect finishing touch
hugs
