Hello, Stampers! I have a fast post to go with a really fun and quick card for you today! Just my kind of card and one you can CASE in a jiffy! With two college kids away at school now, I knew that I would be sending cards often. The stamp set, Words of Truth, really is perfect to send words of encouragement throughout the semester. So, here is the card I made:
It’s All in the Details
- This card came together so fast because of that incredible English Garden DSP, layered on Mossy Meadow and Blushing Bride. You really don’t need (or want) to do much to distract from how gorgeous it is!
- The sentiment was stamped in Mossy Meadow, then cut with the Oval Collections Framelit. It was layered onto Mossy Meadow cut with Deco Labels Framelit.
- The Pansy Punch was used to punch four layers of flowers from Subtles Designer Paper. I used the bone folder to make them curl up then curled just the ends down. They were then layered together with a brad.
- Leaves were stamped using the Reason for the Season stamp set onto Old Olive cardstock with Mossy Meadow ink, then punched with the Festive Flower Builder Punch (Buy the Bundle and SAVE 10%).
- The finishing touch is a Very Vintage Designer Button, which was threaded with Mossy Meadow Baker’s Twine (SAB).
I am very happy with the results of this card. I really wanted the card to be suitable for an adult and think this card accomplishes that well.
