Hello, Stampers! Another very busy week that didn’t allow me into my craft room even once. That will change soon though when I have some huge projects to work on! I hope to share them with you in a few weeks. I wanted to play along with Freshly Made Sketches because I had some negatives left over from the adorable Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit (I hope to share those with you as well!) and thought it would be great to use them instead of tossing them in the trash. This card came together in no time at all! The hostess stamp set Six Sayings was a great sentiment for this card and I plan to use the other sentiments in the next couple months for all of my holiday cards!
- This card has A2 measurements and started by choosing the colors, Pink Pirouette and Pool Party. The snowflake negatives were cut down to fit on the front, layered onto Pink Pirouette. Then, Pool Party card base was made with Whisper White layered on top after embossing with Decorative Dots TIEF.
- Six Sayings sentiment was inked in stages with Pink Pirouette and Pool Party, then cut with Lots of Layers Framelits then layered onto Pool Party cardstock also cut with the same sized framelit.
- Silver Sequin Trim was cut and glued then topped with the Winter Wonderland Embellishment. Metal rimmed Pearls were added to the center of the snowflakes and Pink Pirouette Designer Buttons were added to the sentiment.
- This card was made so fast and easy – tools are a must-have for layered cards!
