Wondrous Wreath

Hello, Stampers! I hope you are all having fun getting ready for the holidays. I have had such a strange Fall that it certainly doesn’t feel like it’s that time of year. There are so many things that I have neglected to do. Where does the time go? If you have a good tip for me to deal the the stress of the holiday season, please share! I have so many more cards to make and mail before next week. Today’s card is using Wondrous Wreath, one of my favorite stamp sets in the Annual Catalog. I am always happy to bring it out.

It’s All in the Details

  • This card is quite easy to put together for a classic holiday card. I used Mossy Meadow as the card base and layered it with Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla, which was run through my indispensable Big Shot in the Elegant Dots TIEF.
  • The inside of the wreath was first cut out with the Wonderful Wreath framelit then stamped in Pear Pizzazz, then layered with Mossy Meadow. The little berries in Cherry Cobbler were added. Then, a sneak peek of Wink of Stella was added to each leaf for some holiday sparkle!
  • The retired Cherry Cobbler grosgrain ribbon was added as a backdrop for the sentiment, which was cut with the Chalk Talk framelit.
  • The Finishing Touch is the pretty Venetian Crochet Trim bow, topped with a linen threaded Classy Designer Button.
