Hello, Stampers! I have a confession – it took me a long time to decide to order Balloon Builders. I have no desire to make animal shapes and I knew that I would get Balloon Celebration, so why get both, I asked? However, I am so happy that I did cave (again) and got it – mainly for that cute heart-shaped balloon. The balloons are really fun to stamp because you can’t goof them up! They are meant to look vintage and so they look great no matter what you do. Love that! Plus, it’s another set to go with the must-have Balloon Builders Punch, it just ended up being the right thing to do – and I am very happy I did!
You always need birthday cards and I really think this one is wonderful for a girl – of ANY age! The photo can’t really capture the colors – Blushing Bride and Perfect Plum. The SAB designer paper, Perfectly Artistic, looks like it was meant for that stamp set!
I had so much fun making the first card that I decided to make another for a “birthday boy.” Of course, I went with my favorite color combination – Lost Lagoon and Mint Macaron. I used some earthy accents to make it more masculine.

Both cards are absolutely adorable. I really like the “masculine” colors best! Regretfully I will resist buying one more additional stamp set… hopefully will not kick myself later. Both cards have wonderful layers, details and pizzazz! Already pinned!!
I love both this cards Debbie, it’s so hard to pick and choose what products to buy, I placed an order a couple of weeks ago and I had to leave out the balloon punch for now, sheeesh!!
Like I said, both this cards are beautiful, and yes, boys and men like balloons too, the masculine card you made is awesome with the fabulous addition of the burlap, how clever to unravel it to use it as a bow and accents.
