Gift of Love
What a great day!! I just got my UPS delivery and couldn’t wait to play with some of the stamp sets that I received. One of the Hostess stamp sets I was anxious to play with is Gift of Love. I have seen some absolutely gorgeous cards made with this set. I am going to assume that most of you know what OnStage is so it will come to no surprise that I have been busy this week making the items that I will be taking. It’s hard to believe that it’s only a week away!
I took a quick break this afternoon to do a “Fast Friday” card but this card turned out to be a little more than I anticipated, thanks to a smudge of ink on my beautiful white cardstock. Has that ever happened to you? I was faced with the prospect of throwing it onto my pile of paper to be used later for tags or just cover that ink smudge up. I chose the latter! (My craft table looks like a disaster area so I have to draw the line somewhere LOL) This card is going to my kids before I leave for Atlanta next week. Hey, if you are going to Atlanta for World Card Making Day or OnStage, I hope you will say hello!
Here’s another angle of the front. Shiny surfaces on anything metallic can make photography tricky! Plus the embossing on the wonderful Fancy Frost Specialty DSP shows up better from this angle.

Love the way you used the EF and the silver doily……I’m going to CASE that layout for a future card! So wherever that random ink spot is will forever be a mystery to us all!
Please share your swaps (after Onstage, of course) so we can see the beauties that you made to share! And take lots of pix, too, please, of the fun!
Cindie, I can’t tell you how disappointed I am that I will not be seeing you in Atlanta! Hopefully we can arrange something in the future! How fun that would be!!
We have sisters who live so close, we will figure it out!
Love the stitching around the card. The card is so pretty.
