Personal Note

You may have noticed that things have been relatively quiet in my craft room lately. The month of November started out with some shortness of breath that became increasingly worse. I went to the Emergency Room and was admitted to the hospital on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. After a week in the hospital, I was allowed to come home on oxygen and plenty of medications to help me feel better for the rare type of pneumonia I contracted due to a chronic autoimmune disease that I have had for a few years.

I’m feeling better but must still take things very slowly for the time being. I can’t wait to get back into my large craft room but my lovely children set up a mini craft room for me in our dining room where I am playing with Paper Pumpkin kits as my energy allows.

Thank you for all of the thoughts and prayers offered! I truly feel blessed through ALL of this! I always look for the good in everything and there has been plenty with this health scare.

Since I’m not sure when I will be posting to my blog next, I wish each and every one of you a blessed holiday season. Hold your dear ones close to your heart and concentrate on enjoying the time you spend with one another!

Blessings!

  1. Praying for continued strength to overcome chronic medical issues. At our age, we never get rid of the aches and pains. But is sure is nice when we are feeling up to our crafting activities! Hope you are back in the larger craft room soon! All my love, Sis!!

  2. I am so very sorry However, with your glass half full attitude… I know you will make a solid recovery. I will probably never meet you personally… but I can tell you…. every time I look at your picture I just know with absolute certainty you are a very nice person. Oh, and did I mention I love your work and always feel great for you when I see your cards included in other blogs !

  3. Hope you take the time you need to return to good health. Pneumonia takes a while to get over, been there, done that. We all look forward to seeing back in good health back in your craft room.

  4. I am so sorry to hear that you have been so ill. I will certainly be praying for you and your family. How wonderful that you have a little craft area set up for when you feel well enough to play. 🙂 I think you must have a very special family who love you very much!

Take all the time you need. Your fans will be here waiting on your return. 🙂
