Stronger Together Fun Fold Card for Creative Creases

It’s time for a new Creative Creases challenge. Firstly, thanks to all those who participated in my last challenge! My Card Today

My card for you today is a double flap Z fold card that is truly super easy and fast to make. Firstly, I wanted to use the brand new Stronger Together stamp set that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on. So, it was the first one I inked up when I got my order this week because we all have besties that could use a card now and then, right? Then, I paired it with the absolutely gorgeous Awash in Beauty designer paper – an absolute must-have if you love beautiful paper like I do!

My secrets to making this Quiet Meadow project

  • Card measurements:
    • Card Base #1: 11″ x 5-1/2″ and scored at 5-1/2″
      • Designer Paper #1: 5-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ (1) and 5-1/4″ x 2-1/2″ (1)
      • Designer Paper #2: 5-1/4″ x 2-1/2″ (1)
    • Card Base #2: 7″ x 3-1/2″ and scored at 3-1/2″
      • Designer Paper: 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″

Now, the FUN Part!

  • After the card bases were cut, scored and all of the designer paper attached to them, I started the details.
  • Firstly, I stamped the image and allowed it to dry well before coloring with Stampin’ Blends (colors listed below). After that, I cropped it out with the Stylish Shapes square die. Note that I chose a patterned paper that worked in any orientation – have you ever put it on and then discovered your paper was upside down??
  • Because the fun fold doesn’t close completely, I added some sentiments that would help with that. Firstly, I stamped the “Together We Are Stronger” sentiment and cropped it out with the Tasteful Labels die. After that, I stamped the “Here For You” stamped and punched it out with a retired heart punch. Although I didn’t want to layer anything onto the inside layer, I thought it would be cute to stamp directly onto the patterned paper, so I stamped the “Girl Power” in the middle.
  • Once all of the stamping was done, I layered them on the folds with adhesive as well as dimensionals with the hearts.
  • Finally, I added white baker’s twine on the small card base as well as some clear dots that I colored with the Old Olive Stampin’ Blends marker.
  • The card closes nicely by sliding the smaller card behind the two sentiments and folds flat for mailing!

  1. Fabulous fold love the beautiful papers and image-the sentiment is perfect and yes I have put papers on upside down and mad a complete front and stuck that on upside down too-my latest was sticking the stamp wrong way round on the block and getting a solid black rectangle instead of a sentiment and yes I did stamp direct to card too!!!
