My Card Today
So, today’s project is an Accordion Z Fold card, which has been in my “to-do” file for such a long time! Since you know I like making easy fun folds, I hope you will try this. I thought it would go particularly well with the new Beary Christmas suite that I just ordered from the new holiday catalog.
My Secrets!
Let’s start with the card base…
- Firstly, this A2 card base(#1) started with 5-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock, and scored at 1-3/4″, 3-1/2,” 5-1/4,” and 7.”
- Card Base #2: 6-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ and scored at 3-1/4.”
- Card Base #1 DSP: 1-5/8″ x 5-3/8″ (2) and the inside used 3-7/8″ x 5-3/8″
- Card Base #2 DSP: 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ (2)
- Personal Message white cardstock: 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″
Now, the FUN part!
- Once that was done, I began the card front by stamping the Beary Cute sentiment with Night of Navy ink. Then, I cropped it out with the Deckled Circle die. Before popping it up with dimensionals, I cut a piece of the Balmy Blue Sparkle Ribbon and adhered it to the panel.
- After that, I punched the bear (on the personal message panel from the coordinating designer paper and fussy cut the other three bears. I popped up the punched bear on the panel as well as the baby bear on the card front. Then, I glued down the other two bears onto the inside of the second card base.
- Finally, I added the glitter sequins onto the panels for the bling that all holiday cards should have.
