Everyday Details Calendar Card for Creative Creases #73

It’s time for a new Creative Creases challenge. Firstly, thanks to all those who participated in the last challenge! If you haven’t played in the challenge yet, I hope I can inspire you to join the challenge that’s starting today! Well, I just had to make another calendar to send to a wonderful friend, so I used another die that creates the fun fold for you. I will show you how easy it is to make yourself, so you aren’t paying for another die in your stash. Because it came after I got my preorder items from the new catalog (it went live yesterday!), I just had to use some of my new products, Everyday Details stamp set and Softly Stippled designer paper, which is free with a $50 order.

Once you’re finished here, check out the current Creative Creases challenge; just click the button below!

My Card Today

Everyday Details Calendar Card by Stampin' Up!

My Secrets!

Let’s start with the card base…

  • Card Base: 8″ x 5-1/2″ and score at 4″
  • Then, from the 2″ mark from the bottom and left edge, cut to 6″ mark
  • After that, score at 2″ mark to the bottom of the cardstock, and, at the 6″ mark, score to the top of the cardstock
  • Designer Paper panels:
    • 3-1/2 x 3-3/4 (main panel)
    • 5-1/4 x 1-3/4 (right edge panel)
    • 3-1/2 x 1-3/4 (middle top panel)
    • 1-3/4 x 1-3/4 (3)

Now, the FUN part!

  • Once that was done, I stamped the new stamp from Everyday Details in Lost Lagoon and colored the flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Blends. After that was done, I fussy cut it out.
  • Then, I stamped the flowers from Petal Park stamp set with Lost Lagoon ink and punched them out with their coordinating punch.
  • After that, I stamped the Everyday Details sentiment in more Lost Lagoon ink and fussy cut it out.
  • The calendar was layered onto Pool Party cardstock, cut to 3-1/4 x 2-1/2 and adhered to the card base.
  • Finally, I added the Opaque Faceted Gems to the flowers.
