Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

Hi, Stampers!
This month, the theme is the new 2024-2026 In Colors. We hope you will be inspired by all the creations the Pals share with you! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal. I’m sure you have seen the new In Colors by now, so you know how beautiful they are. My Double Flap card with the pretty Textured Floral bundle uses almost all the colors. When I first saw the colors, I thought Peach Pie would be my favorite, but I keep gravitating to Petunia Pop. Which color is your favorite?

My Secrets!
Let’s start with the card base…
- Firstly, this A2 card started with cardstock cut to 5-1/2 x 7 and scored at 2-3/4.
- Then, I cut a flap piece of cardstock to 3-1/2 x 2-3/4 and scored one end at 3/4.
- After that, I wanted white cardstock panels (optional) and they are the following sizes:
- 2-1/2 x 5-1/4 (left panel)
- 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 (flap panel)
- 4-5-1/4 (personal message panel on the inside)
- Finally, I cut the designer paper to these following sizes:
- 2-3/8 x 5-3/8 (left panel)
- 2-3/8 x 2-3/8 (flap panel)
- Once that was done, I adhered the panel pieces together to the card base.
And now, the fun part!
- After that, I began inking up the Textured Floral images with my blending brushes, since I find the Distinktive stamps look nicer with a subtle color.
- So, after that was done, I cropped out what I could with the coordinating dies in the bundle. I say that because I didn’t realize that the large flower die went AWOL. I searched for an hour and never found it so I gave up and fussy cut it out. I don’t know if I will purchase it again. The branches don’t have stamps so I cut two of the branches with Shy Shamrock cardstock. Then, I cut more out with white cardstock that was lightly blended with the same ink color.
- After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Textured Floral stamp set with Petunia Pop ink and cropped it out with the Stylish Shapes square die. Then, I popped it up onto the card flap.

Then, on the inside…
- I left the inside blank for now but wanted a little bit of life on the card. So, I cropped out the cute butterfly from the Designer Tags die collection with the same designer paper.
- Finally, I added the 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems to give the card some sparkle.
- I will wait to decorate the inside when I figure out who this card is going to.
More inspiration awaits, so you can use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are very excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please join us again for our next blog hop when we show you our Favorites from the new annual catalog.
Until then, have fun in your craft space!
