Hi, Stampers!
Are you looking for inspiration for the July 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit? Or are you on the fence about subscribing? I subscribed when Paper Pumpkin first started and stayed with it till I was about to move and couldn’t justify more stuff to pack. Then, it took 9 months before my craft room was up and running because my basement wasn’t finished. So, I finally resubscribed and the kits have been the best ever! If you have thought about subscribing, I think you won’t be disappointed with any of the kits, plus you can always suspend your subscription if there’s a month you don’t want and you can cancel at any time.
My cards were so much fun to make and if you want to CASE them, I have all the steps below. AND don’t miss the first card I posted last Friday HERE!
My Secrets!
Card #1: Melon Mambo Bridge Card
- Firstly, this Bridge card started with thick white cardstock, cut to 5-1/2 x 9, and scored at 1-1/2 and 3 on both ends. The finished card folds flatly to 5-1/2 x 6 for mailing.
- Then, I cut four pieces from the kit’s pink card bases to 1-3/8 x 5-3/8 and the pretty white card base was trimmed down to 2-7/8 x 5-3/8 to place in the middle of the card.
And now, the fun part!
- Since this is a bridge card, I had to find the best way to bridge the two sides of the card. So I used a piece of Window Sheet, cut to 2-1/2 x 5-7/8. Then, I placed glue dots at the bottom of the gorgeous floral cut-out and added it to the card base.
- Then, I inked up the sentiment from the July 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit in Melon Mambo onto the precut white cardstock and popped it up with mini-dimensionals onto the sentiment strip, also from the kit.
- I felt that the two side panels needed a little sumthin-sumthin so I inked the super sweet floral image from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set with Melon Mambo and Mossy Meadow inks onto the white Unbounded Love die cuts. Then, I popped them up with dimensionals onto the card base.
- Finally, a few sequins were added to the front of the card for a touch of sparkle.
- I haven’t added a sentiment panel yet but when I do, it will be cut to the same dimensions as the middle panel (2-7/8 x 5-3/8) and adhered to the back of the card.
Card #2: Calypso Coral on Black Birthday Card
- My second card today is super easy to make, using 5-1/2 x 11, and scored at 5-1/2. After that, I cut off both sides at 1-1/2 from the score line.
- Middle Panel (same size on the inside): 2-1/4 x 5-1/4
- Side Panels (cut from the kit’s card base): 1-1/4 x 5-1/8
- Inside Black Panel: 5-1/4 x 5-1/4
- Once that was done, I glued all of the pieces onto the card base.
- Then, I glued the beautiful floral to the front of the card.
- After that, I stamped the sentiment from the kit onto the cardstock cut-out in black ink. I popped it up with mini-dimensionals onto the small piece of matching paper from the kit and glued them to the card.
- Then, I stamped the sentiment and sweet little butterflies from Sketched Butterflies to the inside of the card.
- Finally, I added sequins to the card front for the sparkle we love on our cards.

This is such a beautiful card and I would like to case it however I can’t figure out how you attached the Window Sheet with the floral cut out to the card base. Is it scored?
Hi Rosemarie! Thank you for your comment. The window sheet is attached to the side panels before attaching the DSP so that it covers it up. Sorry, I forgot to add that as a tip!
Rather belatedly, but wanted to thank you for sharing your lovely card with us at Allsorts challenge.

Oh my goodness-both cards are absolutely beautiful! Love that they are fun folds too! Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Paper Funday!
Debbie, I love these cards and am in the process of making the pink one. I just cannot figure out how you attached the window sheet. Would you mind helping me?
P.S. to the above comment.
Did you score the window sheet? Did you attach it to the inside panels or the outside side panels? I have tried many ways to fit it and it just doesn’t work for me. Thanks.
The July Paper Pumpkin cards are beautiful!
