Hi, Stampers!
I have a couple of autumn cards for you today that I made from the wonderful Frosted Forest bundle. This bundle is great because you get a beautiful stamp set that can be used for all occasions, and it comes with dies AND stencils! I had so much fun using them, one using the stamp set and the other without. Hopefully, you like them as much as I do and I would love to know which style you like best.
I highly recommend getting this creative bundle so you can have some fun creating trees for all seasons! If you’d like to see more inspirational autumn cards-, I have entered these two cards to Mary’s Fish‘s autumn themed blog post for her Pals group HERE.

My Secrets!

Card #1
- Firstly, this A2 card started with cardstock, cut to 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 and scored at 4-1/4.
- After that, I cut the beautiful Thoughtful Journey paper down to 5-1/4 x 4 and adhered it to the card front.
And now, the fun part!
- Once that was done, I started stamping the tree from Frosted Forest stamp set. Firstly, I stamped the tree in Early Espresso tree. Then, I laid the first stencil on the top (marked with “1”) and blended over the stencil area with Cherry Cobbler ink. Then, I followed the same process with the “2” and “3” stencils.
- After that, I colored the trunk with the Pecan Pie ink with the stencil. Finally, I cut it out with the coordinating die, and layered it onto another layer that was cut out with white cardstock to give the image some strength.
- Once that was done, I cut out the bare tree from Pecan Pie cardstock with the die. Then, I colored the branch tips with the Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends.
- I believe that landscape cards need “life” on them so I cut out the cute squirrel and rabbit from white cardstock and colored them with Stampin’ Blends.
- After that, I inked up the sentiment and stamped it onto the card front.
- Then, the tree, squirrel and rabbit (critters are from In The Grove die collection) were glued onto the card front.
- Finally, the inside of the card was made simply with more Thoughtful Journey paper, cut to 5-1/4 x 4. Then, I cut white cardstock to 5 x 3-3/4, stamped the sentiment and image from Feathered Flight stamp set and layered it on top of the DSP.

Card #2

- The second card started with the tree because I wanted to try making one without the tree stamp. Firstly, I stenciled the tree trunk with Pecan Pie ink. Then, I began the process of stenciling the leaves with Crushed Curry ink. After that, I cut it out with the coordinating die, along with another white die-cut to give the image some definition.
- Once that was done, I cut the pretty DSP from the Splendid Autumn (cut to 3 x 4-1/2) and layered it onto white cardstock with the Perennial Postage die.
- Then, I cut Country Woods DSP cut to 5-1/4 x 4 and layered the Early Espresso Country Woods, cut to 5-1/4 x 1-1/2 on top.
- After that, I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso and cropped it out with one of the Perennial Postage dies, cut down to size and popped it up onto the panel.
- Then, I popped the tree panel over the card front.
- Finally, I added some life to the landscape with the cute brass birds that I colored darkest Stampin’ Blends.
- For the inside of card, I cut the Country Woods DSP, cut to 5-1/4 x 4 and layered white cardstock, cut to 4-1/8 x 5-1/8.
- Then, for the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Feathered Flight stamp set in Early Espresso ink and cut it out with Everyday Details rectangle die. I glued it onto the card and added a small piece of the other DSP to the top of the card.

Noah was so happy to get a second Mr Bunny Hopper (now called Mr Hobbes). After getting the second one, I gave the first one a well-deserved bath!
Pretty cards. I only got the stencils and haven’t even used them! I love the pic of Noah with his bunnies. You can tell one had a bath and has been well loved 🙂 Have a blessed day, my friend.
Love the rich and vibrant colors you used in card one! (I almost thought it was Merry Merlot, gasp)And where are the bunny and squirrel from, pray tell? They are totally adorable! And so are Noah and the bunny twins! He is so photogenic!
Hi Cindie! Thanks for the sweet comment and for pointing out that I didn’t mention that the bunny and squirrel are dies in the In The Grove die collection! I will add that to my post.
