My Card Today

My Secrets!

Let’s start with the card base…
- Firstly, this Four Panel fun fold card started with two pieces of cardstock:
- 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, scored at 3/4 and 4-1/4. Then, on the cardstock with the 3/4 scoreline, I cut off 1/2″ from the top of the scoreline to the left edge.
- 6-1/4 x 5, scored at 2-3/4. On the left side, cut off 3/4″ from top scoreline to the edge.
- Now, it’s time to decorate the card base! Let’s make some panels from cardstock and designer paper:
- #1: Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4 and DSP 5-1/8 x 3-7/8
- #2 Cardstock 4-3/4 x 3-1/4 and DSP 4-5/8 x 3-1/8
- #3 Cardstock 4-3/4 x 3-1/4 and white cardstock/DSP 4-5/8 x 3-1/8
- #4 Cardstock 4 x 2-1/2 and DSP 3-7/8 x 2-3/8
- #5 Cardstock 4 x 2-1/2 and white cardstock/DSP 3-7/8 x 2-3/8
- These are the panels you need to do the card front panels. I couldn’t stop and decided to do the back of the card as well, which is completely optional.
Now, the FUN part!
- So, this card was so easy to finish up with all of the great images that are part of the A Little Bit Festive designer paper. I has so much fun figuring out which ones to use! And the larger panels were used on the back side of the card. I love that there are two places to leave a personal message!
- Finally, I added some cute peppermints to the card front and some gold sequins to the presents on the sleigh.

Then, on the back…
- There were three panels on the back of the card that beckoned me to decorate them! I cut the large images down from the A Little Bit of Festive paper to the size of the cardstock measurements for the front. DONE!

Folds flat for mailing!

My little buddy, Noah, spent the day with us last weekend. He was in a bit of a funk (happens to all of us, right?) but having some new puzzles seemed to get his mind off of his troubles. Then, we find something funny to laugh about and everything’s better!
What a great fold for showing off all that wonderful DSP. Wish I could sit like Noah! Have a blessed day!!
This is such a pretty card filled with lovely old fashioned images.
