My Card Today

Today’s project is such an easy fun fold that’s perfect for anyone wanting to try making fun folds for the very first time. So, if that is something you are considering, please try this one. When I saw the Around the Bend bundle in the new mini catalog which just went live yesterday, I knew that those curvy edges would be so much fun for a fancy fold card. Then, I paired it with lovely Regency Park designer paper for a classic card that is great all year round.

Around The Bend All Occasion Card by Secrets To Stamping

My Secrets!

  • Firstly, I cut the white cardstock at 5-1/2″ x 11″ and scored it at 4-1/4″ and 8-1/2″ to create the card base.
  • So, my enthusiasm for using the brand new dies made me not realize that using the dies that makes all of the little circles also cut the paper, which was not my original plan. But, no worries – all I had to do was cut Night of Navy cardstock with the scallop die and trim it to fit.
  • After that, I stamped the sentiment onto the flap.
  • Then, I cut the designer paper to fit the card front flap and cut the flowers, leaves and flower centers to adhere to the lower right corner. You might notice the the little flowers have dark centers, but I bet you can’t see that it’s because I used black mini dimensionals to pop them up!
  • Finally, on the inside of the card, I stamped the corner leaf stamp in Night of Navy.

I am submitting this card to the following challenges:
