Let’s Party, Party, Party!

Party, Party, Party is one of the suggested bundles in the new Sale-A-Bration catalog and since my husband and I were hosting the post-holiday office party this past weekend, I decided to give it a try!  The banner was so easy and fast to put together!  The letters are pre-cut  so you just stick them on (TIP: use glue so they don’t unstick when you have your fireplace on haha).  I think it turned out nice, don’t you?  I added three ribbons between the letters and just tied them on.

TIP: Want to use it all year?  I am going to use this in my craft room.  How, you ask?  You can by taking it and just using the letters CREATE!  It will surely inspire me and help me to enjoy my craft room even more than I already do.

These are the cards I made for the staff from the Good as Gold card kit.  They were a huge hit, even before they found the gift card inserted inside.  Do you see the  German sentiment?  The sentiments come in English, German, and French.  I loved this because my husband’s partner is German, so I used English and German on each card to represent them both.  My husband was so inspired by this that he actually wrote his personal message to each employee in English, French and Arabic!  Isn’t that a great idea?!

My husband came to me the night before the party and said that he needed four more cards for employees that are not part of his staff but were invited because they do assist their department.  ARGH!  OK!  I run down to my craft room and in just an hour (I had so many other things I needed to do) I made this CAS card from the stamp set, Happy Watercolor.  I started by looking at my handy dandy card kits and grabbed Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kit.  After looking at it, I decided that it would look too holidayish but I used the card base and the pre-cut banners, which saved me lots of time.  I went to Eastern Elegance DSP and chose the pattern that I felt was best (it is so pretty!) for these cards, cut a little piece of each card, stamped the sentiment from the photopolymer stamp set, Another Thank You, then the flower with the watercolor background, tied a quick bow out of the 1/8″ silver ribbon and that was DONE!  Super fast and pretty!

Lastly, from the uber-cool Party Bundle I used the tags as food placards!  Here is a photo:

The guests really appreciated knowing what each dish was without having to ask.  I think they turned out great and were so easy to make!
