About Me

Addicted to Papercrafting: I have been papercrafting since 1998 when I stayed home to raise my two younger children. Memory-keeping and stamping have been my creative release through all stages of my children’s lives. I joined Stampin’ Up in 2011, just to get the basic supplies that I felt were absolutely necessary. Obviously, I keep needing those must-haves because I am still here today! With my youngest child now away at college, it is a great time to be creative, and do something I truly love.

Stampin’ Up is a family owned company and is celebrating over 25 years in business.  Their commitment to quality, both in products and customer service, is top notch.  I am hooked on their coordinating cardstock, design paper, ribbons, punches, Big Shot accessories and, of course, their stamp sets! As a hobby demonstrator, I have early access to all of the new catalogs and with the discount, I can afford more fun stuff!  What’s not to love about that??

My Background: I have been married to my husband, Aly, since 1989. He’s a wonderful man and great husband! Even though he may not quite understand my love of all things paper, he knows it makes me a happier person. I have four beautiful adult kids, two boys and two girls. We moved a few times in the early years of our marriage and finally settled in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2003. It is a wonderful city in a great state, and we have enjoyed raising our family here.

Interests:  My interests have varied over the years with many types of crafts as well as photography, reading and travel. Stamping is the one interest that has “stuck” the longest. I am involved in many interfaith activities and do many different types of volunteer work. My biggest interest will always be my family! I will always be grateful that they are a part of my life.
