Here is my last submission for January’s Creative Crew challenge. We were asked to make a scrapbook page following a sketch. I love to make scrapbooks and there is no better subject than my children!
CCREW0114SF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM — Scrapbook focus: Whether you’re digital or traditional, or even if you don’t really scrap at all – maybe you prefer a framed art piece or a This & That journal – Whatever you decide show us how you would use the attached layout.
One note about this is how the vellum takes the color of the cardstock behind it but adds more interest to it with the silver stripes. There are other patterns in the packet of designer vellum as well. You should be able to see that there is a heart made with another vellum that has hearts. It is so pretty to use. The silver Encore ink just adds to the elegance of this page, which is exactly what I was hoping to achieve. My daughter, Sarah, is 16 and is such a lovely young woman now. This page really helps convey that.
