I have the last of my March Creative Crew projects for you today. The Challenge was “to make something we love in a scrapbook page, This n That or 3-D project.” I was itching to think about warmer weather and that naturally made me think about taking a vacation since we live in Michigan. Our vacations will always involve a beach somewhere! There is no better way to relax and get away from your stress than to go to the ocean. I have become so used to making beach vacation scrapbook pages that this one came together in no time at all. I love the new DSP, High Tide, in the Celebrate the Everyday catalog. It is perfect for scrapbooks of all types and sizes. I also used the stamp set that went with it so well – By the Tide. Some fast fuzzy-cutting of stamps and the ships in a bottle DSP and this 2 page spread was done! I have left plenty of spaces for journaling and mementos. Now where should we go….

It’s All in the Details

  • Stamp Set: By the Tide (wood #131910, clear #129120)
  • Paper:  High Tide DSP (#132992), Calypso Coral CS (#122925), Pacific Point CS(#111350) Whisper White CS (#100730)
  • Ink: Calypso Coral (#1269830, Pacific Point (#126951), Smoky Slate (#131179)
  • Finishing Touch: Calypso Coral Chevron Ribbon (#130018)

I hope you like my scrapbook ideas today for your next nautical vacation! If you did, please take a moment and leave me a comment! More than anything else, I want to make sure that you preserve your memories in a way that you enjoy. Photos are taken to mark the memory. Don’t leave those on your computer or phone! Find a way that you can appreciate them. Scrapbooking is so much fun! If you haven’t tried it yet, I hope you will now.  Till next time,
Happy Stampin’!

  1. Those layouts are just begging for photos and journaling! Preparing the layout ahead of time is an interesting approach to scrapbooking and so much a time saver when the vacationing is concluded. Nicely done, Debbie! Hope your photos come soon!! 🙂
