What a pretty designer series paper that Stampin’ Up! has just released! Gold Soiree isn’t ALL gold paper (not that I wouldn’t mind that because it is absolutely fashionable right now) so you will use it for everything you make this year. However, I am in wedding and baby season right now, therefore this paper came out just in time. I decided to bring out my old favorite for every occasion, Embellished Events. It really is a “must have” for everyone’s craft room because of it versatility and the ease of making your card really shine!
I will be submitting this card for the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge this week. It is a sketch that you will love to use again and again so why not play along? With just a little fussy cutting, this card was put together pretty quickly. The gold embossing makes an instant and bold impact so that it doesn’t need a lot of layering or embellishing. I just used the new gold satin ribbon (absolutely gorgeous!) and, of course, pearls to add more sparkle.
