Hello Stampers! Are you ready for a new Retro Rubber challenge? We had a great time looking and reading your submissions for the last one! Wow! Your projects were fantastic and it was almost impossible to narrow down the winners. So, please plan to play along with the next challenge, which is another wonderful theme to use a floral design.
My card is mixing some old and new products. The stamp sets are old, of course – Stippled Blossoms and Perfect Pennants – and both are retiring this month. I love Stippled Blossoms and will most definitely be keeping this one. All of the stamp images are great and make great focal images and, as I am showing above, backgrounds. You can make the background so quickly and easily and in any color. The color I chose is a brand new In-Color, Watermelon Wonder, and I am in LOVE with it! Perfect Pennants also has some really great sentiments and love the banners that are included.

Hello Debbie: Stippled Blossoms is one of my favorite stamp sets, you can create a wonderful bouquet of flowers with it by just stamping them in different colors, I love how easily one can achieve a lovely shading with this two step set.
Your card is so lovely, the background you created really frames the sentiment beautifully. I can’t wait to get my hands on this fabulous Watermelon color, it’s so vibrant and fresh.

Debbie, I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this card. When I first looked at it, I thought that was patterned paper. It wasn’t until I saw it several times that it dawned on me that you STAMPED it!! The color – fantastic! This card – more than fantastic! Beautiful!
