Hi, Stampers!
A new Alphabet Challenge starts today with the theme “R is for Reindeer.” I knew I had a great bundle with a reindeer in it and looked quite a while for it. In the end, I couldn’t find one so I ordered one in the Annual Catalog called Regal Reindeer that I had been trying to resist for a while. I really do like this one so I’m not sorry I got it, but wouldn’t you know that I found the one I had been looking for afterward?! I got the new one when I ordered the add-on Paper Pumpkin add-on card bases and envelopes and knew that it would be a perfect combination.
Once you finish here, I hope you visit our Alphabet Design Team gallery for some great inspiration and play along!

My Secrets!
Let’s start with the card base…
- Firstly, I decided to use the card base as a panel on my card, so I cut white cardstock to 7 x 10 and scored at 5 to make a 5 x 7 card.
- After that, I cut the PP card base down to 5-5/8 x 6-5/8 and adhered it to the Night of Navy cardstock, cut to 4-3/4 x 6-3/4. If you look closely, you can see the sparkle – so pretty!
And now, the fun part!
- Once that was done, I stamped the images onto white cardstock and colored them with Stampin’ Blends (colors listed below). Then, I cropped them out with their coordinating dies.
- Then, I stamped the “Peace on Earth” from the Regal Reindeer stamp set with Night of Navy ink and cropped it out with the Double Oval punch. Then, I layered it onto more white cardstock that was punched with the scallop punch.
- Finally, I adhered the images to the card base, popping the front ones up with dimensionals. They fit so nicely onto this 5 x 7 card – I just love how this card turned out!

A beautiful scene Debbie, great pic of Noah with his dad
Oh, my gosh, Debbie…the photo of father and son is heart warming. I love their outfits and smiles. Your card is wonderful. What a fantastic job of coloring. It certainly looks like a father and son moose! The only disappointment for me is that you aren’t eligible for the prize at PIP! But then, you probably don’t need 3 set from NN 🙂
Debbie, I love this card using the Paper Pumpkin design for the backdrop to the beautiful scene you made. Your coloring is awesome. What a wonderful picture of Noah and his father with their beautiful, happy smiles. Enjoy your day!
