Hi, Stampers!
I just got my Paper Pumpkin May 2024 Kit a few days ago and I couldn’t wait to open it up and start playing with it. Father’s Day is right around the corner as are some birthdays so I needed to get busy! This kit is wonderful for masculine cards, so I quickly made three. They almost made themselves! I hope you like them, so let me know in a comment and I will try to post more soon.
Wait! Before you scroll down to see my projects, did you know that Stampin’ Up! is offering FREE SHIPPING today? I got my order in bright and early and am so excited! If you don’t have a demonstrator, I would really appreciate the opportunity to be yours! Just click on the SHOP NOW button on the right sidebar and once your order gets to $75, all your shipping fees are free!!
My Secrets!
Card #1: Celebrate

- Firstly, I used the Crumb Cake card base from the kit and cut the Misty Moonlight card base to 5-1/4 x 4. I layered the other panel on top and glued it to the card base.
- Then, I took the two leaf branches and used the little branch stamp and used it to ink up the branches with ink. After that, I cut them in two and attached them to the card base.
- Once that was done, I popped the tree image over them with dimensionals.
- Then, I stamped the “celebrate” with Misty Moonlight ink and cut it out with the Unbounded Love die. After that, I cut the Misty Moonlight banner to the size of the sentiment and layered them together before popping them up with dimensionals.
Card #2: You’re the Best There is Fun Fold

- This card was so easy to make, using the card base from the kit but turning it inside out and using the front for the inside. The other side was folded in half and burnished.
- After that, I took the Crumb Cake panel from the kit and layered it onto Wild Wheat cardstock, 3-3/4 x 5.
- Then, I took the Wild Wheat branch and cut it in half.
- Once that was done, I stamped the sentiment from the kit and stamped it with Early Espresso ink onto the banner from the kit. Then, I popped it up with dimensionals over the branches.
- Finally, for the inside of the card, I stamped the “love you” sentiment from the Bee My Valentine stamp set. Then, I used the frame from the Thanks & Beyond dies to cut Wild Wheat cardstock, cut it in half, and layered the sentiment on top.
- I cut the Wild Wheat branch in half, layered it onto the inside of the card, and then adhered the sentiment on top.
And Lastly, Card #3: Thanks

- So, for my third card, I used white cardstock, 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 and scored at 4-1/4.
- Then, I layered the Misty Moonlight card base, cut to 5-1/4 x 4, onto the card base.
- After that, I cut the Crumb Cake panel from the kit into three pieces and layered them onto the card base, overlapping them for a little visual interest.
- Once that was done, I cut Misty Moonlight cardstock with the “thanks” die from the Thanks & Beyond dies twice to give it more dimension. Then, I glued the white banner to the blue banner and glued the “thanks” on top.
- I cut one of the Misty Moonlight branches and glued it to the back of the sentiment.
- I made a double bow with some retired Misty Moonlight bakers twine and glued it down to the card base before popping the sentiment to the card base.
