Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
Hi, Stampers!
This month, the theme is Orange Theory. We hope to inspire you with our creations using the color orange today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal. So, do you have a favorite Stampin’ Up orange? I truly love them all and just reach for the one that matches best for the card I’m making. I’m not very creative with color challenges and usually go a bit overboard with the color, so this time I went with a white card front and just splashes of deep color that is perfect for autumn. Then, I used the Autumn Leaves stamp set and dies to make it perfect for fall. I have used some new products here so I hope you will keep reading to see which ones!

My Secrets!
Let’s start with the card base…
- This A2 card started with Cajun Craze cardstock, cut to 11 x 4-1/4 and scored at 5-1/2.
- After that, I cut white cardstock to 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 and dry embossed it with the Changing Leaves embossing folder.
- Then, I cut Early Espresso cardstock to 4 x 5-1/4.
- Once that was done, I cut a piece of the Basic Beige Ribbon and tied it into a knot in front of the white layer.
- Finally, the Early Espresso layer was glued to the card base on a diagonal, and I glued the white cardstock layer in the normal position to give the card a little interest.
And now, the fun part!
- So, now onto the leaves which I had cut for another card ~ that’s just how my mind jumps! I used the Splendid Autumn designer paper as well as Cajun Craze cardstock (lower left maple leaf). Then, I remembered that I had just received the Metallic Enamel Effects and decided to pounce the leaves with the Copper. Oh, how I love how they turned out! I liked it so much that I did the same thing to the Golden Leaves leaf.
- After that, I stamped the Autumn Leaves sentiment with Cajun Craze ink and cropped it out with the frame die that’s in the die collection. To add a bit more interest to the sentiment, I cropped out two pieces of the small banner die in the Nested Essentials die collection, glued it to the sentiment, then popped it all up on dimensionals.
- Finally, I added the Champagne Iridescent Dots around the focal point for some sparkle.

Tic Tac Giftie
- My grandson Noah loves Tic Tacs, so they inspired me to wrap them up with the Autumn to Remember cardstock that is brand new at Stampin’ Up! The cardstock is printed with color so the inside is white, then they made one side of the cardstock the “normal” color and the other side is lighter. I love it! I didn’t use the enamel effects on it so you can see how it embosses.
- I cut the Cajun Craze paper to 2-9/16 x 5-1/2, and scored it at 1-1/16, 1-3/4, 3-7/16, and 4-1/4. I tapered one end to hide under the top layer.
- Once that was done, I cut the maple leaf from Autumn Leaves dies on the panel that would be in front, then ran it through the Leaf Fall embossing folder and gently sanded it to expose the white part of the cardstock.
- Then, to finish it off, I tied a bit of the Basic Beige ribbon and added a maple leaf that was cut from the Splendid Autumn patterned paper.
There’s more inspiration to show you, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be Random Acts of Kindness.
Until then, have fun in your craft space!

If you’ve been to Door County, Wisconsin, chances are you know about this adorable restaurant in Sister Bay, that has grass roofs to feed their goats! We took our daughter for a vacation last week for a much-needed break. This was the only place that I absolutely had to see and it didn’t disappoint. If you scrolled down to see photos of my favorite grandson, come back on Friday!
