THREE December 2024 Paper Pumpkin Cards!

Create this card using December 2024 Paper Pumpkin by Stampin' Up! and Debbie Mageed at Secrets To Stamping

Hi, Stampers!

While I am still waiting for the January kit to arrive (winter must have delayed it a bit), I was able to play with the December 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit. I had to shelve it during the hectic holiday season, but this kit is wonderful and can be used for any occasion you need. The stamp set is so versatile and I love the font, too. I was able to make three cards with the last one being a very easy fun fold. Which one do you like the most? I would love to hear what you think in a comment below.

Once you finish here, you can visit the Facebook Paper Pumpkin page for more inspiration!

My Secrets!

Card #1

Let’s start with the card base…

  • Firstly, I started with the scalloped card base from the kit without making any alterations.
  • I decided to add some Wildly Flowering designer paper scraps, the blue one was cut to 5-1/8 x 2 and the neutral one was cut to 4-7/8 x 3-5/8. After that, they were adhered to the card base.
  • Once that was done, I added the vellum leaf image and the fern image from the December 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit, adding glue dots to the vellum where they wouldn’t be visible. Then, I popped the fern up with dimensionals.
  • I stamped the sentiment from the kit in Misty Moonlight ink to the circle piece (also from the kit). Then, I added a bit of linen trim in a loose bow and placed the sentiment on top.
  • Finally, I added the glitter embellishments from the kit for a bit of sparkle.

Card #2

  • I love how this card turned out! I started it with the Mossy Meadow designer paper, cut to 5-1/8 x 3-3/4.
  • After that, I cut the NEW Everyday Arches in white cardstock and popped it up with dimensionals.
  • I used two of the vellum leaves and the beautiful floral piece (both from the kit), layered them onto the arch with glue dots on the vellum and dimensionals on the flower.
  • Then, I stamped the sentiment onto onto the oblong cutout in Mossy Meadow ink and glued it to the flower.
  • Finally, I added the glitter embellishments to finish the card.

Card #3

  • So, you know I couldn’t go too long without making a fun fold, right? But I made it a super easy easel card, using white cardstock for the card base, cut to 11 x 4-1/4 for the card base (scored at 2-3/4 and 5-1/2) and another piece of cardstock (this one is Blackberry Bliss) cut to 5-1/2 x 4-1/4.
  • I wanted to use the Everyday Arches die again but this time I cut the ombre Bright and Beautiful designer paper. Then, I popped the image from the December 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit up with dimensionals.
  • Before adhering them to the Blackberry Bliss card base, I wrapped the ribbon around it where it would be hidden from the back. Then, the arch and image were popped up with dimensionals.
  • I made a bow with the ribbon, Opal Rounds and glitter embellishments to the flowers and arch.
  • Finally, I used another piece of the Bright and Beautiful DSP, cut to 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 for the inside of the card. Then, I stamped the sentiment from the kit onto the rectangle cutout in Blackberry Bliss ink. I cut out die from the new Mixed Labels collection in Blackberry Bliss ink and added more Opal Rounds.

  1. Great cards and if I had to pick a favorite, it’s the third card because of the colors. LOL
