Hi, Stampers!
A new Creative Crafters Challenge starts today, and I had so much fun creating this card! I used the Natural Botanicals stamp set from the new spring catalog, which lets you use both sides of each stamp to create effortless shadows and depth—such a game-changer! I paired it with the Floral Delight designer paper for a soft, springtime feel. And can we talk about Daffodil Delight? I don’t use this color enough, but something about this cold winter has me dreaming of sunshine and flowers.
But now, I’m stuck—what sentiment should go on this card? Birthday? Hello? Thinking of you? Help me decide! Drop your pick in the comments! ⬇️
The Creative Crafters Challenge is always “anything goes” so, once you finish here, I hope you visit our Design Team gallery for some great inspiration and play along!

My Secrets!
Let’s start with the card base…
- Firstly, this card started with Mossy Meadow cardstock, cut to 11 x 4-1/4 and scored at 5-1/2.
- Then, to make the background panel, I cut the Floral Delight designer paper to 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 and white cardstock to 5-1/4 x 4.
And now, the fun part!
- Once that was done, I stamped two flower images in Old Olive ink and colored each of them with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends markers. Then, I fussy cut them out.
- After that, I stamped the two leaves images, one in Mossy Meadow and the other in Old Olive ink, and cut them out with the Spotlight in Nature circle die.
- Then, I glued the circle to the card base and popped up the flowers over it.
- Before adhering the panel to the card base, I wrapped the Satin Ribbon around and tied a bow under the circle.
- Finally, I added a few of the Opal Rounds around the flowers.

Then, on the inside…
- For the inside of the card, I made a panel with Daffodil Delight and white cardstock (same dimensions as the front panel).
- I stamped the pretty flower to the bottom of the panel, then glued the layers together to apply to the inside of the card.

The Legos phase continues… Noah has started working on his own Legos now and doing a fantastic job. He is able to follow the instructions with almost no problems, which is amazing considering he is only 4 years old and these kits are suggested for kids much older. I think this ability has to be genetic, since his father was exactly the same! But he sure didn’t get it from me! When he comes to me with an issue, I tell him that we will have to figure it out together! LOL
Such a bright and cheery card to warm up my cold and cloudy day, Debbie! It’s a great design and I love that it works for any occasion … whichever one you need next! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
