Paper Pumpkin March 2025 Alternative Cards for CC #103 (ending June 5th)

Hi, Stampers! Still haven’t played in the Creative Creases Challenge? You’re not out of time—yet! The current Creative Creases Challenge runs through June 5.

I’ve been catching up on my Paper Pumpkin kits, and the March one has to be a favorite for me. Daisies always remind me of my mom—they were her favorite—and this kit brought back lots of memories of her. These cards used the contents of the kit and additional supplies that are available with links at the end of my post. I think these cards turned out beautifully, and I hope you like them as much as I do.

Whether you’re new to fun folds or a seasoned cardmaker, there’s plenty of inspiration from the Design Team and gallery. Come join the fun and show us your creation!

Card #1

Create this card using Paper Pumpkin March 2025 Kit by Stampin' Up! and Debbie Mageed at Secrets to Stamping
  • My first card using any Paper Pumpkin March 2025 kit is usually a Z-Fold card, because it makes the card bases from the kit even more creative. So, for this card, I took the Pool Party card base and scored it at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4 (which was already scored) and folded it so the the printed side was on the inside.
  • After that, I cut one of the white card bases to make two pieces that were 5-1/2 x 2, and adhered them to the inside of the card, one on each side of the score line to make an area for a personal message.
  • Then, I stamped the honeycomb stamp onto the front in Lost Lagoon ink and stamped the sentiment from You are Remarkable. Once that was done, I cut the sentiment with the Nested Essentials die.
  • I adhered the pretty daisies to the front panel with adhesive, adding one of the honeycomb pieces from the kit and the adorable bumblebee with a dimensional. Then, the sentiment was popped up with dimensionals (placed only on the left side).
  • I placed another daisies piece on the right panel (technically the inside of the card) with dimensionals and another honeycomb piece.
  • Finally, I added three Tiny Bee Trinkets to the card base and a touch of Wink of Stella onto the bee body (sorry the camera couldn’t pick up the sparkle but it’s pretty IRL).

Card #2

  • OK, one fun fold card down but I’m ready to get more creative with this kit. So, I made a Flying Seagull fold but changed the usual card measurements. When folded for mailing, the card is 5-1/2 square.
    • Card Base: 8-1/4 x 5-1/2 (you need two) and score them both at 2-1/4, 4, 6-1/4
    • Center Panel: Cardstock: 5-1/2 x 4-1/4, plus one of the kit panels
    • Outside Panels: 5-3/8 x 4-1/8 (2) from one of the kit card bases
    • Middle Panels: 5-3/8 x 1-5/8 (2) from one of the kit card bases that was dry embossed in the Basics 3D embossing folder
  • Once that was done, I started adding elements from the kit: daisies, bumblebees, and honeycombs.
  • Finally, I stamped the sentiment onto one of the banners with a small strip of Mossy Meadow cardstock to make it pop a little, and more Tiny Bee Trinkets.

Card #3

  • So, you like the kit but want something fast and easy? My third card is just what you’re looking for!
  • I took the Pool Party card base that had been cut into for a previous card, and cut it to 5-1/4 x 4 and adhered it to white cardstock (8-1/2 x 5-1/2).
  • I inked up the honeycomb stamp in Lost Lagoon and stamped it a few times around the PP panel.
  • Then, I took two of the daisies pieces and arranged them to create a space in the middle of the card, adding a couple of the honeycomb pieces.
  • After that, I stamped the “Thinking of You” sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set with Lost Lagoon ink onto one of the kit’s banners and nestled it between the daisies.
  • Finally, I added one of the bumblebee’s to the card for a little life on the card.
