Stampin’ Up! Coneflower Celebrations Card for the Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

Hi, Stampers!

This month, we’re diving into the beautiful and brand-new 2025-2027 Stampin’ Up! In Colors! Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting on your stamping journey, these fresh hues are giving us all inspiration. Click through each link at the bottom of this post to “hop” along and see how our community is using these beautiful new shades in their projects. You’ll leave with inspirational ideas, and maybe a few new must-haves on your wishlist!

I am absolutely loving the new In Colors, aren’t you? Secret Sea is my new go-to for black; I love it and plan to use it from now on. The other new colors are so pretty on their own and coordinate beautifully together. So, for my card today, I used Coneflower Celebrations, which is a sweet bundle and I love the large flower! The sentiments are fresh and new so this bundle is great to have in my stash.

My Secrets!

Let’s start with the card base…

  • Firstly, this square card measures 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 and started with Secret Sea cardstock, cut to 5-1/2 x 11 and scored at 5-1/2.
  • I cut white cardstock to 5-3/8 x 5-3/8 and dry embossed it in the retiring Timber embossing folder.
  • Once that was done, I cut the In Color patterned paper to 4-5/8 x 4-4-5/8 and layered it onto Secret Sea cardstock, cut to 4-3/4 x 4-3/4. This layer was popped up onto the card base with dimensionals.

And now, the fun part!

  • The coneflower was stamped onto white cardstock with Secret Sea ink, then colored with Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger, Secret Sea and Strawberry Slush Stampin’ Blends. After that, I cropped it out with the coordinating die.
  • Then, I cropped out the stem and leaves using the In Color patterned paper pack in Cloud Cover as well as white cardstock. The pieces were glued together to give them more dimension.
  • I decided to add a layer behind the flower, so one of the Everyday Arches dies was used to cut white cardstock, which was dry embossed with the Dashing Designs embossing folder.
  • After gluing the arch to the card base, I thought the flower needed some height and interest, so I cut the other coneflowers in Darling Duckling and glued them onto the card base. Then, I glued the colored image on top.
  • Instead of gluing the folded flower together, I kept it open and used one of the More Messages sentiments that was inked up with Secret Sea and popped it up with dimensionals.
  • I added another sentiment from the More Messages bundle with dimensionals.
  • Finally, I added the Flat Dots in Timid Tiger to bring some sparkle to the card.

Then, on the inside…

  • The inside of the card was made with white cardstock that I stamped with the sentiment in Secret Sea ink and the beautiful butterfly, both from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set.
  • Then, I added some Strawberry Slush Flat Dots to make it special!

  1. Love your card, Debbie. I keep thinking about this set because of the big coneflower opening up but I have Nature’s Harvest and have hardly used it. I will ponder this for awhile. I was so hoping there would be a pic at the end and you did not disappoint! Look at those little feet and big smiles!! TFS.

  2. I love the new IC’s,too. I think your shading skills are amazing- the center of the coneflower had me convinced it was Blackberry Bliss- but no!!! I will be trying the 2 SS’s together now, wow!
