Join the newest Creative Creases Challenge starting today! Whether you’re a seasoned cardmaker or just getting started, I hope this inspires you to play along. I have such a fantastic fun fold to show you all today! I wanted to make a Triple Cube card and came across one that was inside a card base. How cool is that?! I love that it folds up easily inside the card base. I let the Peaceful Garden designer paper do the majority of the work and the sentiment and dies from Peace on Earth bundle turned out so perfectly with this fun fold.
My card is just one of the beautiful fun fold cards you can see in the Creative Creases Challenge that starts today. I hope you will be inspired by them and play along soon.
My Secrets!

Let’s start with the card base (measurement in inches)…
- Firstly, I followed Einat Kessler’s tutorial to make this card.
- Cardstock:
- Card Base: 6 x 11, scored at 5-1/2
- Large Cube: 3-1⁄2 x 8-1⁄2 and scored at at 1-3/4, 3-1/2, 5-1/4 and 7
- Small Cubes: 1-3⁄4 x 8 1⁄2 (2) and scored at 1 3/4, 3 1/2, 5 1/4 and 7
- DSP:
- Small Cube Panels: 1-1⁄2 x 1-1⁄2 (8)
- Large Cube Panels: 3-1/4 x 1-1/2 (4), two inside and two on the back
- Card Base Panels: 5-1⁄4 x 5-3⁄4 for the inside of the card base
- Front Panels: white cardstock 5-1/2 x 5-1/8 (please note that I cut this panel incorrectly but didn’t realize it till later. It should have been 5-1/2 x 5 for a 1/4″ border on all sides) and DSP was cut to 5-3/8 x 5). I wrapped the ribbon around the panel and tied it into a bow before gluing it down to the card base.
- I glued the card base panels to the card base. Then, I added glue to the bottom of the two small cubes and lined them up with the front and back corners of the large cube on the score line. Once that was done, I closed the card to make sure they were lined up properly. Note: be aware that the cubes fold down, so place them towards the top of the inside of the card.
Now, the FUN part!
- Card Front: I stamped the (retired) Christmas Labels stamp in Misty Moonlight ink and cut it out with the coordinating dies, also retired. Then, I cut Misty Moonlight cardstock with the Nested Essentials die and layered the sentiment on top with dimensionals.
- Then, I cut some foliage with the Charming Day dies for a little life to the card front.

Then, on the front of the card…
- I stamped the Peace on Earth sentiment with Misty Moonlight ink and cropped it out with a coordinating die.
- I cut more white cardstock with the large die in the bundle for a personal message.
- The two doves were cut with white cardstock and popped up with dimensionals.
- Because I thought the cubes needed some embellishments, I decided to fussy cut some of the doves out of the DSP and glued them to the cubes.
- Then, I cut and layered the daisies together. To add a bit of color, I used Cloud Cover and Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends to the petals and some Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots to the centers.
I hope to submit this card to the following challenges:
