My Secrets!
Let’s start with the card base…
- This A2 double easel card base started with 11 x 4-1/4 cardstock and scored at 5-1/2. A second piece of cardstock that makes the double easel is 10-1/2 x 4 and scored at 5-1/4 and 2-5/8.
- Front large panel: 5-1/8 x 3-7/8
- Front small panel: 3-7/8 x 2-1/2
- Inside Panel: 5-1/4 x 4 and white cardstock cut to 5-1/8 x3-7/8
- The front panels were stamped with Beautiful Motifs and Elements of Text stamp sets. They were also dry embossed with the Exposed Brick embossing folder. Then, the edges were distressed with my distress tool.
And now, the fun part!
- Once that was done, I stamped the beautiful flower from Coneflower Celebrations in Pecan Pie ink. I allowed that to dry, then began coloring the petals till I was satisfied.
- After that, I cut the stem and leaves, coloring them with the same Stampin’ Blends.
- I cut the flower out and cut another one in Pecan Pie cardstock, layering them together for more dimension.
- Then, they were all adhered to the card base.
- The small panel included both the panel itself and the sentiment. The sentiment stamped in Pecan Pie and cut out with the banner die from Stylish Shapes. Then, they were layered on top of the smaller banner cut from Pecan Pie cardstock.
- I made a bow with linen thread and layered them all together onto the card base.

Then, on the inside…
- I stamped the daisy from Cheerful Daisies stamp set across the top and bottom of the white cardstock. Then, I sponged the edges with Pecan Pie ink before adhering it to the cardstock.
- I stamped the “You’re so Kind” sentiment from The Right Words stamp set. Then, I cropped it out with the small square die from the Stylish Shapes. Then, I layered it onto Pecan Pie cardstock.
The creativity doesn’t stop here! Be sure to hop along using the lineup below to explore even more inspiring projects from the Pals.
