Hi, Stampers!

Are you ready for a new Inspiration Station Challenge? We’ve got a brand new photo to get your wheels turning. I bet you don’t love squirrels as much as I do! I feed several squirrels year-round but can get as many as 15 of them at a time during the winter. When I saw this inspiration photo, I thought it was a great time to use the adorable Karen Burniston dies, which were too cute to resist. I paired it with the Light & Wonder trees and the Falling Snow background stamp, which I have had for so long and never used.
So, what about you? What part of the inspiration photo speaks to your creative imagination? I’d love to see how it moves you. Your interpretation of the inspiration photo is your own, so let your creativity flow!
Check out the gallery and jump in—it’s more fun with you there!

My Secrets!
Let’s start with the card base…
- Firstly, I started with the card base cardstock, cut to 11 x 4-1/4, then it was scored at 5-1/2.
- The background was stamped onto white cardstock with Balmy Blue ink, using the Falling Snow stamp set.
And now, the fun part!
- OK, I cut out the trees from the Light & Wonder dies collection with Mossy Meadow cardstock.
- Then, I decided to cut the background to create a snowbank in front of the trees. To do that, I traced the bottom of the tree line onto white cardstock and fussy cut it out. After that, I cut out a second one, stamped the sentiment from the Bee My Valentine stamp set, and then popped it up with adhesive strips.
- Now, onto the adorable squirrel, I cut it out with the Karen Burniston Woodland Animals die (#1001), using Crumb Cake cardstock. The belly piece was cut from Basic Beige cardstock. The acorn was cut using Crumb Cake cardstock.
- The face of the squirrel was easy to do because the die has holes for the eyes, nose, and mouth, so all you have to do is use a marker to trace them out before taking the cardstock out of the die.
- The belly piece tucks into the arms and right under the chin, and the acorn just needed a brown Stampin’ Blends marker on the top before tucking it into the squirrel’s hands.
- I took a sponge dauber and lightly sponged the edges and the body and tail. Then, I added a dimensional to the back of the tail and glue to the body to adhere it to the card base.
- Finally, I remembered the teeny tiny squirrel from In The Grove dies and thought it would be cute to add as well. So, I cut it out with Crumb Cake cardstock and colored it with the Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends, adding a bit of Crumb Cake to its tummy before gluing it to the card base.
I hope to share my card with these challenges:

Five years flew by way too fast… Today my sweet grandson turned FIVE! Noah hit the big milestone today, but his birthday party was yesterday, and my heart can barely handle it. Watching him grow—from tiny moments to big celebrations—has been the greatest joy.
His birthday cake was Ferrero Rocher (his absolute favorite), and the giant “5” on top sparkled like magic. Seeing Noah and his cousin light up, eyes wide with excitement, was one of those moments I’ll treasure forever.
