Hello, Stampers! I don’t know how to keep my craft room clean! I just don’t enjoy putting all of my stuff away because I know it’s just going to come right back out after I finish. Sometimes I wish I would be neater so I am not looking for things that should be right under my nose, but often times having things out helps me with the little details. I might not have thought about ‘this little thing’ or that one if it hadn’t been out while I was working on a project a week later!
Anyway, that’s why I thought to use Floral Wings for this card. This card will be submitted to Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration. They have a color challenge this week and I just loved the colors! This card came together so quickly! One reason for that is the beautiful card from the Project Life Love Story Card Collection. Isn’t it gorgeous? I didn’t think it was cheating too much to add another neutral color but, if it is, then I sure hope they forgive me!
- Card has the classic A2 measurements with the layers of 5 1/4″ x 4″ and 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
- This butterfly stamp has wonderful details that I thought would look great in the challenge colors.
- I used the new Tags & Labels Framelits for the sentiment with the new Crumb Cake Stitched Satin Ribbon, topped with the In-Color Blossom Accents.

A big congrats, Debbie! Your beautiful card is definitely a winner! I love how those bright reds pop against the neutrals…so gorgeous!
Hugs,
Sunshine Sharon
Debbie–love the surprise bright color in your card. I think I might have to try something like that!!! Thanks for the inspiration.

Another Beautiful card and I love the Bermuda Bay sequins in the middle took me a minute to figure out what it was, looked black in the picture on my computer, but the string for the antenna was stumping me until I figured out what is was. Great Job, and Congratulations to Jamie.
Fabulous as usual. I going to have to find a new adjective to describe your work. I mean it is always fabulous, and gorgeous. Love the butterfly. Congrats to Jamie. Yay!
Debbie, I absolutely LOVE your card! I don’t consider it cheating to add the neutral from the PL card collection, as it really helps make this card. My favorite embellishment on your card is the antenna from the sequin trim! What a great idea!
Thanks so much for playing along with us at Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration. You did a wonderful job with the color challenge.
Beautiful card, Debbie! I love that color combination also. The festive butterfly looks ready to join a special party… all dressed up! You might say this came together quickly, but I would have taken hours, LOL. Now I can just CASE… off to pin…
This card is beautiful! I’ll be using this color combo soon, too. Sorry I missed the other post, so happy belated birthday! Off to search you previous posts to see what else I missed…
Debbie I love your card, you used the colors wonderfully and it’s got so dimension. I also have the same issue with you on keeping my studio clean, we try but enjoying our creativity is so important! Thanks for playing along with us on the Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration blog.
Love your card!! Great use of the challenge colors and I love the sequins as the butterfly’s center.
What a fabulous card! I love the sequin trim as the butterfly’s body! Thanks for playing at SSI!
So cute! Love your big butterfly! Thanks for playing with us this week at SSINKspiration!
I like how you used the Project Life card for a background for your beautiful butterfly to flutter onto. That sequin body on the butterfly and the remaining thread for the antennae, OMGosh! Thank you for playing along with our color challenge at Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration this week!
