Halloween Is Lots of Spooky Fun with Stampin’ Up!

Spooky Fun!

Halloween is just a couple of short weeks away, so are you ready?? The Retro Rubber challenge will help you start the process before it’s too late. Just make a Halloween inspired project using at least one stamp that is over a year old and you will start the ball rolling AND have lots of fun at the same time. I used three different stamp sets for this card. The first one is Jack of All Trades, one of the very first Halloween stamp sets I had, which came out in the 2011-2012 SU Annual Catalog. I bought it and then promptly put it on my shelf and it never got used even once. I just mounted the stamps to use it – crazy!! It’s so cute! The sentiment is from the Tags 4 You stamp set, which debuted in the 2013 Holiday Catalog. It has a coordinating punch so I can’t get rid of it! The last stamp isn’t on the front of the card. Spooky Fun just came out in the 2016 Holiday Catalog and has fun framelits to go with it. I used the coordinating framelits on the front and a few of the stamps on the inside of the card.

  1. This card shows why we should never ditch old stamp set! This is an adorable mix of old and new! That pumpkin is great! Such a whimsical Halloween card with so many cute elements.

  2. I love every single thing about this card….such fun elements all put together! Of course, I love anything Halloween! Thanks so much for asking me to be the GD this week, too! Always love what your team has to offer!

  3. Such a great card, Debbie, with mixing the old with the new. Although the inside doesn’t have nearly the detail as the outside, it is darling too! My favorite detail… the twine around the pumpkin top!! Already pinned and I am not the only one, LOL…

  4. Oh Debbie, you just gave me another fabulous idea to use that awesome embossing folder, this card is fantastic in every single way!! I have the Jack of all Trades set, this pumpkin has never look this beautiful, every time I use this set I always add the faces but now, I’m going to stamp this pumpkins without them, love the linen thread on this one!!! and the sweet “scary” ghost and his friend the bat!!
    Great inside too.
    Hugs,
    Maria.

  5. Hi Debbie, I love your card, I love the embossed background and that sentiment is wonderful! I forgot about these sets, I have to go pull mine out.

  6. This card will make me break out that set of mine as well (it did see a little ink at the time, but not nearly enough!) Very cute and fun halloween card. Like Katy, I love that twine on the punkin stem, but I also really love the inked embossing folder….perfect spooky dimension!

  7. I LOVE this card! It is just the right amount of spooky I would have to say! The embossed trees are fantastic and really make the card! Everything is perfect! PS I couldn’t believe Katy didn’t have my stamps either!

  8. I love this card too Debbie, I always love the details on your cards. This time I am in love with the trees, cannot believe that is an embossing folder! The twine on the pumpkin is a really nice touch, looks like the ones I am seeing all over town. Cx
