Birthday Wishes with a Sweet Cupcake Card for Retro Rubber

Fun Birthday Card featuring #SweetCupcake, #Cupcakecutouts, #PaintedwithLove, #StampinUp, #SecretStamper

We had some great cards for our last challenge and hope you got to see them! Our next challenge is lots of fun and very popular in the card-making world – Tic Tac Toe! Pick “three in a row” and make a card, using one of your older stamps, with us!! I wanted to use a bundle that I couldn’t wait to get but didn’t use yet and went with the first vertical threesome: Pink, Twine, Birthday. 🙂 Sweet Cupcake came out in the 2016 Annual Catalog and is still available. It has a framelit set that coordinates with it, too! You gotta love that, right? The new Stamparatus tool that Stampin’ Up! has designed made the 3 step stamping so much easier! Using daubers, I inked up the “sweet” with the three colors of ink and popped it up with craft foam.

  1. Wow! This is SO PRETTY, Debbie! I love that beautiful DSP in the background, and the coordinating ink colors in the yummy cupcake! Looks fabulous, and such a fun, PARTY-ISH card! Your diagonally placed square frame really brings some drama to the cupcake! I am slowly becoming well enough to begin commenting on some blogs again. So grateful for that! hugs, de

  2. Your cupcake is certainly as sweet as can be! Love the various colours in the icing and your ombre words are perfect. The frame on an angle and the twine bring the cupcake even more to the foreground. Lovely card, Debbie!

  3. Debbie, this card makes me want to have a strawberry cup cake, loaded with pink frosting right now!!
What a sweet combination of beautiful shades of pink, love the frame in the background and that pattern paper is just as delicious.
Lovely details of the Ombre sentiment and the little twine bow.
    Awesome card, Debbie.
