Thank you to all played along with our Spring Flowers challenge over at the Sisterhood of Crafters. By the looks of the gallery, you all were ready to bring out those beautiful flowers, too! If you haven’t had a chance to see them all, I hope you will go and take a look at all of the wonderful inspiration. We are now on to our newest challenge, Bunnies, hosted by Vickie! I absolutely love these gentle creatures and enjoy watching them in my yard. I had the perfect stamp set that is new in the Occasions catalog so I just had to ink it up. A Good Day has many sweet images to choose from and coordinate with the very unique wooden mini embroidery hoops. How cute they are together!!

My Secret to Making This Good Day Project
  • Masking: I wanted to stamp the bunny onto Whisper White cardstock but have the background in Soft Sky. So, the bunny was stamped twice, once on WW and then again on the sticky end of a post-it note. (I have masking paper but the post-it note was handy) After fussy cutting the post-it note bunny, I placed it over the WW bunny and then ran my sponge brayer loading lightly with Soft Sky ink over the WW masked bunny. When the mask is removed, the bunny is so cute and white!

  1. Debbie, I love everything about this card! So SO cute! Your layers are sweet with the daisies against the dark blue – but mostly, I love the framed circle inside the banner. It’s a wonderful design, and I’ll be casing it for sure! Darling! Wishing you a fantastic day full of deep contentment.

  2. I love that gorgeous tag on your card esp with that cute bunny peeping through. How clever to colour the negative area around the bunny to highlight its whiteness, I have to remember that. A truly fabulous combination to make an amazing card! Hugs, Gwendolyn

  3. I saw this over on the Dragonfly Journeys blog and HAD to stop by to comment. Your card is absolutely lovely! I love that daisy paper and your sweet bunny.

  4. Hi Debbie! My goodness this is just the sweetest little creation with that cute little bunny and the beautiful blue and yellow combination it is over the top adorable. Thanks so much for joining my Baker’s Twine blog challenge, I hope to see more of your beautiful work, and good luck 🙂

  6. Thank you, Celia, for your comment and question! I used the circle framelits. The regular circle one measures around 1 5/8” in diameter and the scallop circle is about 2”. Hope that helps!
