Butterfly Gala Sneak Peek for the Cardz 4 Galz Challenge

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope this holiday has given you time to reach out to family, friends and all those who you care about. We have so much for which to be thankful! And I am so thankful for each of you! Hopefully you will “carve” 😉 out some time to play in your craft room because it’s time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. I just went to Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage in Orlando and was able to see and get lots of new products early! You are going to LOVE the new catalog! The new challenge, “Flutter By” hosted by Wendy, gave me the perfect reason to play with Butterfly Gala, a beautiful new stamp set with a coordinating punch!! You gotta love that!!! There are also two new designer papers on this card that are wonderful, as well.

My Secrets to Making This Butterfly Gala Project

• The card started by cutting and coloring the pretty butterfly on the new Botanical Butterfly DSP. All of the patterns are gorgeous!
• Then, I stamped, colored and punched out the two butterflies from Butterfly Gala. This stamp set will be on the top of your list, my friends! I love it!!
• A wonderful sentiment from Detailed with Love was inked and stamped off once to get the right shade of purple I wanted. Then, silver foil paper was cut with a layering oval framelit.
• The Gingham Gala DSP was cut and backed with Highland Heather cardstock, then coordinating sequins were placed.
