Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
Hi, Stampers!
This month, the theme is the New 2023-2025 In Colors! We hope you will be inspired by all the creations the Pals share with you! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal. I don’t know about your feelings on the new colors, but I love them, since they work beautifully with the other color families. That said, my favorite of the new bunch is Boho Blue, so that is the color for my card today.
My Secrets!
Let’s start with the card base…
- Firstly, I made the card base from white cardstock, cut to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. After that, I cut Boho Blue cardstock, cut to 4″ x 5-1/4.”
- Then, I cut the Countryside Inn designer paper, cut to 5-1/8″ x 11-5/8″ and scored at 1-3/4, 4-3/4″ and 7-3/4.”
And now, the fun part!
- Once that was done, I stamped the flowers in the Textured Floral stamp set in Boho Blue ink and the leaves with Night of Navy ink.
- Then, I cut out the branches with white cardstock.
- After that, I cut two Tailor Made Tags, in Boho Blue and white cardstock. Then, I dry embossed the blue one in the Countryside Blossom embossing folder.
- After making a double twine bow for the white tag, I adhered all of the items together and glued it to the card front.
- Then, I adhered the smaller flowers and leaves to the tag and popped the tag up with dimensionals. (Secret: I placed the tag lower than the DSP to give it some support when the card is open.
- Finally, I added some Boho Blue Dots to the card on the flower and tag. Also, I added a Deckled Rectangle on the last panel for a personal message.
