Inspirational Sketches Center Lift Card for Creative Creases #85

It’s time for a new Creative Creases challenge. Firstly, thanks to all those who participated in the last challenge! If you haven’t played in the challenge yet, I hope I can inspire you to join the challenge that’s starting today! So, you all know how much I love stamps with nature, and birds in particular, right? I just had to get Inspirational Sketches when I was placing an order recently. The images are beautiful! So, I paired it with the Center Lift fun fold. I enjoy this easy fold and you can make it in both the portrait and landscape positions.

Once you’re finished here, check out the current Creative Creases challenge; just click the button below!

My Secrets!

Create this card using Inspirational Sketches by Stampin' Up! and Debbie Mageed at Secrets To Stamping

Let’s start with the card base…

  • Firstly, this A2 card started with cardstock cut to 4-1/4 x 7-3/4 and scored at 5-1/2. Also, for the card front panel, I cut cardstock to 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Then, the designer paper cut to 4-1/8 x 2-1/8 (top of front panel) and 4-5/8 x 3-3/8 for the front panel.
  • Inside: DSP cut to 4-1/8 x 5-3/8.

Now, the FUN part!

  • I stamped the two images from Inspirational Sketches in Pecan Pie ink. Then, I cropped them out with the Perennial Postage dies.
  • After that, I stamped the sentiment from Inspiration Sketches in Pecan Pie ink and cropped it out with the banner in Stylish Shapes dies.
  • Finally, I added the Swirl Dots to the centers of the flowers.

Then, on the inside…

  • After I cut the designer paper and adhered it to the card base, I stamped the image from Inspirational Sketches in Pecan Pie Ink and cropped it out with the larger size from the Perennial Postage die.

I am submitting this card to the following challenges:

  1. 613 Avenue Create
  2. A Place To Start
  3. Beautiful Blossoms
  4. Die Cut Divas (I love rectangles and the postage stamp edging on these makes them even better!)

  1. Wow. I love this – that Specialty paper is wonderful and so perfect with those sketched images!! And the fold is perfect – one I am going to have to “borrow”! 🙂

  2. Debbie, this is so beautiful. The mono-tones create quite the elegant portrait. I love that you carried the theme through to the inside by using one more Perennial Postage die.
Simply beautiful, my friend. Thank you for sharing your talent, once again.
